Equivalence of using a desktop virtual reality science simulation at home and in class

Summary:
The article compared the use of VR science laboratories used either at home or in class. 112 university students participated in the experiment. The results revealed no significant difference in learning between the two groups. This research thus suggest that VR simulations can also be effectively used in teaching outside of the classroom, for example as home work.
