Prajakt has a background in the cognitive and learning sciences and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Roskilde Universitet. He is interested in the design and testing of enactive interventions, especially based on new-media (e.g. VR, AR) interfaces, to support embodied learning of complex concepts in science and mathematics. He is also interested in using techniques such as eye-tracking alongside qualitative methods, to explore the neural/brain mechanisms involved in the process of learning through enaction and embodiment. To serve this two-fold interest, and thus contribute to both theory and practice, he finds it ideal to engage in design-based research.
